After 40 years, Mani, a woman who reached Karachi after being sold from India in Kim Sunni, got in touch with her family through social media.
A video is going viral on social media in which a woman named Mani, a resident of Karachi, can be seen telling the signs of her hometown Muradabad and their residences in India.
The woman said that in Kam Sunni, a relative of mine had taken her to New Delhi and sold her to a man who brought her to Karachi. It's been 40 years since I've had any contact with my family.
The video was seen by Mani's brother based in India, after which the two got in touch on WhatsApp. Thus, 40 years later, Mani was reunited with his family.
"The man who rescued me from the clutches of the kidnapper in Karachi is now my husband," Mani said. I named myself Bushra and I have 4 children with whom I am very happy.
