One rupee depreciates against the dollar in the open market
In the interbank market, the dollar depreciated by 29 paise and in the open market by one rupee.
The dollar fell 29 paise in the first trading session on the Interbank Foreign Exchange after receiving Saudi remittances.
At the close of trading on the Interbank Foreign Exchange, the exchange rate of one US dollar is Rs 176.48.
The dollar depreciated by one rupee to Rs 178.50 in the open market.
