A new part of the human body was discovered

A team of scientists from Switzerland has claimed to have discovered a new part under the human skin.

By 2017, the human body was thought to have 78 organs, but then the mesentery (the membrane that connects the intestines to the outer part of the stomach) was added, bringing the number to 79, and in 2018 and 2019, 2 new organs were discovered.

And now another new human organ has been claimed to be discovered, a layer of muscle in the lower jaw that, according to researchers, plays a key role in chewing.

According to research published in the medical journal Annals of Anatomy, this muscle (muscle) is part of the jaw muscles located behind the cheeks and lower jaw.

In fact, you may find yourself feeling the need to place your fingers behind your chewing gum.

It was generally thought that this was a two-layer file, but some experts suggested a third and more mysterious layer.

Researchers at the University of Switzerland's Center for Dental Medicine in Basel, Switzerland, said.

And so they finally discovered this third layer of the jaw file.

He said that the layer deep inside the masseter muscle (muscle) is clearly separated from the other two layers due to its functions.

He said that this new organ of the human body plays a role in stabilizing the lower jaw and more research will be done to know the arrangement of file fibers.

Researchers believe that this is just one aspect of the layer that helps move the lower jaw backwards.

The research team is also examining various tests such as CT scans and MRI scans to identify the possible functions and position of this new problem layer.

And yes, this new part has been renamed, and in a research paper, experts have suggested the name Musculus masseter pars coronidea.

The name implies attaching the lower jaw to others.

The researchers said that the discovery was not only important but also medically important because it would increase the knowledge of the part of the muscles that would improve the treatment and surgery of the lower jaw.

"It is generally believed that there has been no shortage of research on the human body over the last 100 years, but our discovery is as if we have discovered a new generation of life," he said.
