Jharkhand: In the Indian state of Jharkhand, there are two siblings who, although only 13 and 6 years old, look older than their parents.
Siblings named Anjali and Keshu are born with two rare and incurable diseases called Progeria and Cute Lexa.
These are congenital diseases that cause a child not only to look old from an early age but also to suffer from aging disorders internally.
Very few people get one of these diseases but unfortunately Anjali and Keshu suffer from these two diseases at the same time which has made their life very difficult.
Their facial skin hangs down like an old man with wrinkles on it and they both suffer from various ailments which are specific to old age.
Due to her appearance, Anjali is often confronted with many insulting titles at school, such as grandmother, elder sister, elder sister and so on.
The story of these siblings was first reported in the world media in 2016 when Anjali was 7 years old and Keshu was only one year old.
In this report, the parents of these children had stated their problems and said that they were not rich enough to buy expensive medicines for their children.
When the news broke, an organization called the "Care Today Fund" contacted them and arranged for free medicine for the children.
In addition, the organization took care of other expenses of the children and also gave them free surgery to reduce facial wrinkles.
A few days ago, a new video of these two children was also released in which they look better than before while their wrinkles on their faces are also less.
The video shows the siblings playing, jumping and reading, suggesting that donations from philanthropists and media reports have helped them improve their lives.
