Pakistan has imposed travel bans on Hong Kong and five African countries in the wake of the outbreak of a new strain of the corona virus, Omi Crohn's.
Travel restrictions have been imposed on Hong Kong, South Africa, Mozambique, Namibia, Lesotho, Aswatini and Botswana, according to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), the anti-Corona agency.
The NCOC said that all the 7 owners have been included in Category C, direct and indirect arrival of passengers from these countries will be immediately banned.
According to the NCOC, Pakistanis traveling in an emergency have to get a travel permit and Pakistani passengers have to show a vaccination certificate at the airport.
The NCOC says Pakistani passengers will have to show a negative PC report 72 hours in advance, while a rapid antigen test will be performed at the airport.
According to the National Command and Operations Center, Pakistanis stranded in restricted countries are allowed to travel till December 5, but health and testing protocols will continue to apply to passengers.
