Pakistan wins clean sweep of series against Bangladesh
Pakistan's first wicket against Bangladesh fell to 32 when captain Babar Azam was dismissed for 19.
Pakistan's second wicket against the hosts fell to 83 when Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed for 40.
The third wicket of the national team belonged to Sarfraz Ahmed who scored 6 runs and got out in the last over.
Haider Ali was the fourth batsman to score 45 runs while Iftikhar Ahmed returned to the pavilion with 6 runs.
Earlier, in the third and final match of the T20 series being played in Dhaka, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan.
Fast bowler Shahnawaz Dhani, who made his debut in the national team in the first innings of the match, opened the account of his wickets in T20 International by taking a wicket on the third ball of his first over.
The first loss to Bangladesh in the match was the wicket of Najamul Hassan Shanto, he was bowled on the ball of Dhani after scoring 5 runs.
The second wicket of the host team went to Usman Qadir when Shamim Hussain was caught for 22 runs.
Bangladesh's third wicket against Pakistan fell to 80 when Usman Qadir dismissed Afiful Hasan.
Bangladesh's fourth wicket was taken by Mohammad Naeem who scored 47 runs. Wasim caught him on his own ball.
The fifth wicket of the host team was taken by Noorul Hassan. He was also dismissed by Wasim. They were run out after scoring runs.
Thus, the host team scored 124 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated overs.
For Pakistan, Muhammad Wasim and Usman Qadir took two wickets each while Dhani and Haris Rauf took one wicket each.
Four changes have been made in the national cricket team. Sarfraz Ahmed, Iftikhar Ahmed, Usman Qadir and Shahnawaz Dhani are included in the playing XI. Fakhr Zaman, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shoaib Malik are not included in the playing XI.
Babar Azam is leading the national team while other players include Mohammad Rizwan, Haider Ali, Khushdal Shah, Sarfraz Ahmed, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jr., Usman Qadir, Haris Rauf and Shahnawaz Dhani.
National team all-rounder Shoaib Malik had already withdrawn from the third T20 against Bangladesh due to his son's illness.
It should be noted that Pakistan has a decisive lead of 2-0 in the three-match series, while in case of defeat in today's match, the host team Bangladesh will have to face a clean sweep defeat.
