Nobel laureate social activist Malala Yousafzai tied the knot.
On November 9, Malala Yousafzai announced her marriage to Asr Malik on her Twitter account and also shared wedding photos.
He wrote in his tweet, "Today is a precious day in my life. Asr and I have become lifelong companions. We had a small wedding ceremony in Birmingham in which our family Shri Kathe, remember in your prayers." "We look forward to working with you on this journey."

On this occasion, Malala Yousafzai wore a pink wedding dress while Asr Malik chose a three piece suit.
Malala's father Ziauddin Yousafzai also tweeted in this regard.

Malala Yousafzai's friend also shared a photo of the marriage ceremony on Instagram.
Asr Malik also shared a different photo on his Instagram.
Malala Yousafzai said in an interview with Vogue magazine in June 2021 that she has no intention of getting married at the moment nor does she intend to have children.
The Nobel Prize-winning activist was widely criticized for his remarks, and his name remained a top trend on Twitter.
On this, Malala's father Zia-ud-Din Yousafzai had said that his daughter's statement regarding marriage was shared out of context of the interview.
