Miss South India

 

Six people, including a hotel owner, have been arrested in connection with the accidental deaths of three people, including former Miss South India and Miss Kerala 2019 Ansi Kabir and Miss Kerala 2019 first runner-up Anjana Shajan, who were killed in a car accident in the Indian state of Kerala.

According to police, the owner of Hotel No. 18 in Qila Kochi and five of his employees deliberately destroyed the hard disk of the CCTV in which the death of the models was recorded.

The development came as police were investigating the deaths of Ansi Kabir, Anjana Shajan and Mohammad Ashiq, who were killed in a car crash on November 1. Ansi and Anjana died on the spot while Mohammad Ashiq died in hospital a few hours later. The driver of the car, Abdul Rehman, survived the accident.

After the accident, the police had registered a case against the driver Abdul Rehman for driving under the influence of alcohol and arrested him.
