At least four people were killed and 48 others were injured when a passenger bus collided head-on with a truck in the Saudi province of Madinah.
According to the International News Agency, a passenger bus collided with a speeding truck coming from the front on the Al-Hijra Highway in the province of Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
The collision was so terrible that the front of the passenger bus was completely destroyed. Four people were killed and 48 others injured in the accident and were shifted to the hospital.
Hospital sources said that the condition of the six injured was critical and they were kept in the intensive care unit. The 12 injured were allowed to return home after receiving medical treatment.
The cause of the accident has not yet been determined. An inquiry committee has been formed to investigate the accident. Due to the accident, the traffic on the highway was suspended for several hours.
