Two thousand 729 beds have been allotted for dengue patients in Lahore hospitals out of which 1877 beds are in government hospitals.
The Punjab Health Department said that 840 beds are vacant in government hospitals in Lahore and 852 beds have been allotted in private hospitals out of which 198 are vacant. Mayo Hospital in Lahore has 66 empty beds for dengue.
According to private TV, DHO Islamabad said that 94 people were infected with dengue in the last 24 hours in the federal capital, after which the number of dengue victims this season has risen to 3,737.
Yesterday, 56 cases of dengue were reported in the rural areas of Islamabad. So far, 2,140 dengue patients have been reported in the rural areas of Islamabad. 38 cases of dengue have been reported in urban areas of Islamabad, after which 1,597 dengue patients have been reported in urban areas of the capital.
According to DHO Islamabad, the number of dengue deaths in the capital this season has reached 14.
