During actress Mahnoor's performance, dozens of people stormed the stage and rioted. According to a private TV channel, more than 60 people attacked the actress at a theater on Abbott Road in Lahore.
According to the TV channel, as soon as the actress came on stage, the crowd gathered inside the theater and shouted. Mahnoor has claimed that she also received death threats from some people in the crowd.
In a case registered at Qila Gujarsingh police station, the actress sought an inquiry against the persons involved in the incident, to which the police assured that they would spare no effort to nab the accused.
