Former South African batsman AB de Villiers has quit all forms of cricket. AB de Villiers announced his retirement from cricket on his confirmed Twitter account. In a statement released on Twitter, AB de Villiers "It has been an incredible journey but I have decided to give up all forms of cricket," said AB de Villiers. That now at the age of 37, that flame no longer burns so fast.

Earlier, AB de Villiers announced his retirement from international cricket in 2018. The South African batsman, popularly known as Mr. 360, played 114 Tests, 228 ODIs and 78 T20 Internationals. In the message, the former prosthetic captain wrote that a wonderful journey has come to an end, I have decided to retire from cricket.
