The son of a former Afghan defense minister has bought a 21 million mansion in the United States

Daoud Wardak, the son of former Afghan Defense Minister Abdul Rahim Wardak, who already owns a $5.2 million unit in Miami Beach's most expensive Zerot, has bought a $20.9 million luxury mansion in Los Angeles.

The 2,900-square-foot Truss Dale estate property was designed by a local architect and was last sold to the Woodbridge Group in 2016 for $9.5 million.

Built by Daoud Wardak, the Carla Ridge Residence is built in the style of the 1960s Los Angeles, with its glass walls overlooking the city's tallest buildings.
