Former Pakistan fast bowler and star player Shoaib Akhtar left the program on state TV 'PTV Sports' due to the insult of the anchor and resigned.
Shoaib Akhtar was present on the program on PTV Sports in which Pakistan's performance in the World Cup and the players were discussed. He was accompanied by foreign legends Wayne Richards, David Gower and former Pakistani cricketers Aqib Javed, Rashid Latif, Umar Gul, Azhar Mahmood and Sana Mir.

The management of Pakistan Television (PTV) took notice of the incident of anchor Noman Niaz's bitter attitude towards former national team fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar during a live show.
The management of the state broadcaster has formed an inquiry committee to probe the incident on PTV Sports.

According to the administration, the first meeting of the committee formed to investigate the matter will be held today (October 27).
The inquiry committee will investigate the situation between Dr Noman Niaz and Shoaib Akhtar.

It may be recalled that during the match between Pakistan and New Zealand in the T20 World Cup on the night of October 26, Shoaib Akhtar had participated in the PTV sports program 'Game on Hai'.
The host of the show, Dr. Noman Niaz, asked a question to Shoaib Akhtar. However, during his analysis, the anchor took a bitter attitude and asked him to leave the show and later Shoaib Akhtar left the show.
Analyzing the program, Shoaib Akhtar praised national cricket team player Haris Rauf and talked of giving credit to Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Lahore Qalandars, but he later mistakenly named Shaheen Shah Afridi. ۔

On this, Shoaib Akhtar had said, "I am talking about Haris Rauf", to which Noman Niaz repeated his words, "Shaheen Shah Afridi had played for Pakistan before."

Shoaib Akhtar had told him to "smile, and apologize for whatever happened," to which Noman Niaz replied, "OK, you continue."
In response to Noman Niaz's reply, Shoaib Akhtar apologized and said that he was resigning from PTV.
In the PTV Sports program, the video of Noman Niaz asking Shoaib Akhtar to leave the show and later the former cricketer leaving the show is going viral on social media. Anchor is facing severe criticism.
The hashtag #NaumanNiaz, named after anchor Noman Niaz, is also trending on Twitter, while the resignation of anchor is also being demanded in support of Shoaib Akhtar.
On the other hand, Shoaib Akhtar said in a video statement released on Twitter that Dr. Noman Niaz's attitude was unbearable, I was asked to go to the live show.
