Mandela, the grandson of Nelson Mandela, a leading South African anti-racism leader, has called for a boycott of this year's Miss Universe pageant.
According to foreign media, the Miss Universe pageant will be held in Israel in December this year.
In a statement, Mandela called for a global boycott of the Miss Universe pageant, saying he was "shocked" to hear that the Miss Universe pageant would be held in Israel this year.
Mandela has called on former beauties, including this year's winner, Miss South Africa, to boycott the contest in protest of Israel's racist actions against Palestinians and their illegal occupation of their land.
He said that the atrocities against the Palestinians could not be compared to the occupation of their lands and the brutal racial prejudice against them.
Mandela added that Occupying Israel's atrocities against the Palestinians should be prosecuted at the International Criminal Court.
Mandela Mandela converted to Islam in 2016.
