Narcotics force issues notice to Shah Rukh's driver

In the case of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan and fashion designer Gauri Khan's son Aryan Khan, who were arrested on drug use and possession charges, the Anti-Narcotics Force also called the actor's personal driver.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan's lawyers also filed a petition in the Sessions Court in Mumbai seeking bail for his son.

According to the Times of India, Shah Rukh Khan's team of lawyers filed a bail application in the Sessions Court on October 8 after Aryan Khan's bail was rejected by a local court in Mumbai.

The petition filed by the lawyers is likely to be heard in the Sessions Court on October 11 and there are reports that the Narcotics Force is also planning to file a petition in the court against the said petition.

The Narcotics Force had also opposed Aryan Khan's bail in the Mumbai Metropolitan Court on October 8.

Aryan Khan was remanded in custody by the Metropolitan Court on October 7 on a 14-day judicial remand. The women were sent to prison.

Following the transfer of Aryan Khan to jail and the rejection of his bail application by the Metropolitan Court, his lawyers have now filed an application in the Sessions Court, which is likely to hear the case on October 11.

On the other hand, the Times of India reported that the Narcotics Force also issued summons to Shah Rukh Khan's personal driver in the case and summoned him for a statement.

According to the Anti-Narcotics Force, a summons was issued to Shah Rukh Khan's driver after Aryan Khan's mobile chat record.

The Narcotics Force suspects that Shah Rukh Khan's driver may have taken drugs from somewhere and taken Aryan Khan to the cruise party.

Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on October 3 on drug charges, including friends Arbaaz Merchant, Manman Dhamicha, Nopur Srika, Smit Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chokar and Gomat Chopra.

They are accused of using drugs at the cruise party, with about 1,500 people on board.

The Narcotics Force produced Aryan Khan along with his accomplices in court on October 4 and initially obtained his physical remand till October 7, after which he was produced in court again on October 7 when his remand expired.

The Narcotics Force had also requested for extension of Aryan Khan's physical remand on October 7, which was rejected by the court and he was sent to jail on judicial remand, after which Aryan Khan was transferred to jail on October 8.

Now Aryan Khan and his accomplices will be produced in the anti-narcotics court after October 21, but before that the bail application filed by Aryan Khan's parents in the Sessions Court will be heard.
