A rescue helicopter crashed during a rescue operation in the United Arab Emirates, killing four people.
According to the International News Agency, the helicopter of the UAE Police Rescue Agency crashed due to a technical fault during the rescue operation. There were two pilots in the helicopter while a doctor and a nurse were present.
The four people killed in the helicopter crash were identified as pilot trainer Khamis Saeed Al-Houli, lieutenant pilot Nasir Muhammad Al-Rashidi, Dr Shahid Farooq Ghulam and nurse Joel Kiwi Sakara.
A statement issued by the police officials paid tribute to the martyrs while on duty but did not give the cause and location of the accident.
A police statement did not say where or where the helicopter went. The helicopter crash comes just days after World Expo 2020 kicked off in the country a year late.
