Four people, including two Taliban, were killed and four others were injured in two separate incidents in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.
Unidentified gunmen opened fire on Taliban security personnel in the Afghan city of Jalalabad, killing two, according to the International News Agency.
In another incident in Jalalabad, a roadside bomb exploded as a Taliban vehicle was passing by. Two were killed and four were injured in the blast. One of the dead was a child.
A Taliban spokesman said the Taliban vehicle was hit by two bombs, but the Taliban remained safe, but two passersby were killed and four wounded.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for either incident, but ISIL Khorasan has so far claimed responsibility for attacks and bombings against the Taliban in Jalalabad.
It may be recalled that three attacks on Taliban vehicles were carried out in Jalalabad last month in which a total of 12 people were killed and about 10 were injured, after which a city-wide operation against ISIS is underway.
It should be noted that since the Taliban took power in Afghanistan, more than 300 worshipers have been killed in suicide attacks on two Shiite mosques and ISIS Khorasan claimed responsibility for these attacks.
