Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced that Mohsin of Pakistan Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan will be buried in the premises of Faisal Mosque as per his wish.
Leading nuclear scientist died Sunday morning at the age of 85 after a long illness.
In his message, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he was deeply saddened by the death of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan and the entire nation loved him for his invaluable services in making the country a nuclear state. Deeply saddened by the passing of Dr A Q Khan. He was loved by our nation bec of his critical contribution in making us a nuclear weapon state. This has provided us security against an aggressive much larger nuclear neighbour. For the people of Pakistan he was a national icon.
Talking to News about the issues related to funeral prayers and burial, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan would be buried with full official honors.

He said in a Twitter message that the Interior Ministry had convened a meeting at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) headquarters at 12 noon.
He said that the funeral prayers of Mohsin Pakistan would be offered at 3:30 pm at Faisal Mosque and arrangements for the funeral prayers would be finalized at the meeting.

Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan was diagnosed with corona virus on August 26 and was admitted to Kahuta Research Laboratory Hospital in critical condition. He was told that he was in good health.
In a statement issued a few weeks ago, he lamented the failure of Prime Minister Imran Khan and any member of his cabinet to inquire about his health. Mohsin Pakistan had said that when the entire nation was praying for his speedy recovery, not a single government official had even called to inquire about his health.
