Popular Twitch streamer Kaitlyn 'Amouranth' Siragusa found her banned this week from the Amazon owned streaming service for fifth time.
Siragusa has since been unbanned her suspension lasted just three days; it remains uncertain what just she did to make this ban in first place. The streamer has been banned in the past for pushing Twitch's rules on clear content, and has become one of the most well known faces of the divisive "hot tub meta".
Her last ban in June, was because Twitch claimed she had broken the rules during ASMR stream.
Siragusa is back on Twitch and we are none the clever as what her capacity have done. But in a recent YouTube video uploaded during her suspension, she touched on her latest ban and teased the idea of a new meta to boost her subscriber count.
"It's kind of crazy if you think about it," she said in the video. "Like Instagram, Facebook got hacked, I get banned. You know. Twitch gets hacked, I get banned. It seems like there's a gist here. It seems like a association between the two.
"Companies up in arms, lighting themselves on fire internally but 'we still have time to ban Amouranth from both platforms. That's very important."
In the tongue in cheek video, Siragusa joked about her family friendly content, the clerics that have been descending into her DMs to praised her on her work, and what kind of content she'll bring to Twitch next.
"So a lot of the DMs I've gotten are asking me about what the new meta is gonna be when I come back," Siragusa said. "We had hot tubs, we had ear licking ASMR... what if we played video games? Maybe I should? Could you imagine? I'd probably be the first person on Twitch to try and play a video game. It'd be crazy."
She's officially back on Twitch, it's only stuff of time before we see where Siragusa takes her content next. It will almost not be video games.
