Bollywood superstar Salman Khalid's father and well-known screenwriter Saleem Khan has said about the legendary actor known as 'Big B' that Amitabh Bachchan should retire now.
Remember that Saleem Khan and Amitabh Bachchan have acted together in more than 10 films.
According to the Hindustan Times, in an interview given to the Indian newspaper Dinak Bhaskar, he said that Amitabh Bachchan should retire now, he has achieved everything he should have done in his life and now he has a few years of his life should give.
Saleem Khan said that Amitabh Bachchan played a brilliant innings professionally, he did a great job so now he should get out of this race and retire.
Saleem Khan then explained that there is a system of retirement so that a person can live a few years of life according to his desires.
"The early years of life are spent studying and learning things, then you have family responsibilities," he added.
Saleem Khan said that for example, my world is limited now, not all the people I walk with belong to the film world.
He added that "Amitabh Bachchan was a hero who played the role of Angry Young Man well, he is still there."
Saleem Khan said that now there are no stories for an actor like Amitabh, our films have improved technically, besides music and action have also improved but we do not have good scripts.
Saleem Khan first worked with Amitabh Bachchan in the 1973 film Zanjeer, which also starred Pran and Jaya Bachchan.
Amitabh Bachchan and Saleem Khan worked together in successful films like 'Sholay', 'Deewar', 'Majboor', 'Dawn', 'Trishul', 'Kala Pathar' and 'Dostana'.
