In Syria, two bombs exploded on a bus carrying military personnel, killing 14 and wounding three.
According to the International News Agency, a sudden explosion took place on the Hafiz al-Assad Bridge in the Syrian capital when a military bus was passing by.
The blast was so powerful that the wreckage of the bus blew up and 14 personnel on the bus were killed on the spot while 3 personnel were rushed to hospital in critical condition.
An army spokesman said three bombs had been planted at the passage of the troops, one of which was defused by a bomb disposal team that arrived after the blast.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. This is the second major attack in Syria since March 2017 in which so many people have been killed.
It should be noted that 3.5 million people have been killed in the war between ISIS and coalition forces in Syria since 2011, while 5 million people were forced to seek refuge abroad and half of the country's population became homeless.
