US increases aid to Pakistan

 

The United States has increased aid to Pakistan under the Kerry-Lugar Bill.

According to private TV, the Biden government increased annual funding for Pakistan, the Economic Affairs Division released a special report. Under the Kerry-Lugar Bill, US aid to Pakistan has been increased to Rs 8.18 billion annually.

Rs. 25 crore will be provided for scholarships in Kerry Lugarbal and Rs. 25 million for repair of Tarbela Dam. Rehabilitation of terror-hit areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been given priority and an annual fund of Rs 1.15 billion has been allocated for them. Rs. 92 million will be provided to Pakistan for the development of Federal Health Services Academy.
