Climbers trapped at an altitude of 6900 meters on their way back from Raka Poshi Summit have been rescued, which has been confirmed by Deputy Commissioner Nagar.
According to a local newspaper, Deputy Commissioner Nagar said that a Pakistani and two foreigners trapped on the peak have been rescued. An Army helicopter has played its role in the rescue operation.
It is to be noted that these climbers had reached the peak of Raka Pushi last week while on their way back, these three climbers remained stranded at an altitude of 6900 meters for several days.
Earlier, renowned Pakistani climber Hassan Sadpara and two foreign climbers were trapped near Bottleneck on their way back from K2 Summit, which resulted in their deaths.
