Submarine ballistic missile test; South Korea's response to North Korea

Just hours after North Korea's ballistic missile test, fierce rival South Korea also successfully tested the country's first nuclear-capable submarine ballistic missile.

According to the World News Agency, South Korea tested the first nuclear-armed submarine ballistic missile. President Moon Jae-in was also present on this historic occasion of the country. South Korea became the seventh country in the world to have this advanced technology.

On the occasion of the test of this long-range ballistic missile from the sea, President Moon Jae-in said that we now have the capability of strong resistance against North Korea's provocations.

On the same day, North Korea also tested two ballistic missiles in defiance of UN sanctions, which was strongly protested by South Korea, but soon after, it also tested the missile itself.

This is the first time that rival North Korea and South Korea have tested ballistic missiles on the same day. This shows that the race to overtake each other in the development of nuclear weapons has begun in the region.

Former US President Donald Trump himself met with the leaders of North and South Korea and later played a key role in the historic meeting between the two rivals, but these meetings and efforts proved fruitless.
