Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar differences with the Taliban government came to the fore

KABUL: The Taliban has formed an interim government in Afghanistan, which has been under increasing foreign pressure due to the lack of representation of other nations and women, while reports of differences within the domestic leadership are circulating.

The BBC spoke to a Taliban official about the incident after the Taliban denied reports that Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar had been killed in a shootout between two cabinet members at the presidential palace.

According to the BBC, a Taliban official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar had questioned the inclusion of women and other nationalities in the new government structure. And the debate started with member Khalil-ur-Rehman Haqqani.

Proponents of her case have been working to make the actual transcript of this statement available online. Supporters of Mullah Abdul Ghani said that we had negotiated with the United States and promised the international community to form a diverse government, which led to our success in Afghanistan so easily.

On the other hand, Khalil-ur-Rehman Haqqani, the Haqqani Network's Minister for Refugees, and his supporters were of the opinion that foreign troops should retreat because of their actions, and the United States had agreed to the talks for the same reason.

After this bitter rhetoric, Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar had gone to Kandahar where he would probably take up the matter with the Amir Taliban.

The sensation was sparked by rumors circulating on WhatsApp groups in Afghanistan that Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar had been killed in a shootout between cabinet members at the presidential palace as a result of bitter rhetoric, which the Taliban denied. However, Mullah Abdul Ghani has not yet come to the fore.

Meanwhile, Taliban leader Mullah Habibullah has not yet emerged even after the Taliban took full control of Afghanistan and formed a government. He is also said to have died of corona last year. And like their founder Mullah Omar, the Taliban are hiding the news of the demise of the current Amir.
