The first locally electric motorcycle (e-bike) in Pakistan was inaugurated by Prime Minister Imran Khan during a ceremony on July 8.
The e-bike was developed by a company called Jolta Electric and it was announced in July that it would gradually introduce a number of eco-friendly bikes.
The JE70 was launched by the company in July, while the JE70L, JE70D, JE100L, JE125L, JE Scooty and JE Sportsbikes were gradually made available to consumers.
Now the company has launched its first electric scooter for sale.
According to the report of Pro Pakistani, this electric scooter named JE Scooty has a 1500 watt motor and a 20 mAh R dry battery.
According to the company's website, this scooter can cover a distance of 60 km on a full charge.
The maximum speed of this scooter is 55 km per hour while charging will consume 1.8 units of electricity.
This scooter is priced at Rs. 150,000 which can be purchased in different cities.
Like the JE70, the JE Scooty is eco-friendly, fuel-free, smoke-free, noise-free and non-polluting.
That is, it is excellent for saving fuel and is specially designed for Pakistani consumers.
Since this scooter does not have clutch and gears, there is no need for much maintenance.
