Indian actress Neha Saxena has lodged a complaint with the police after the filmmaker allegedly threatened her with 'rape, torture and murder' for refusing inappropriate scenes during the shooting of the film.
Neha Saxena has acted in a few Bollywood films, while she has acted in Hindi dramas as well as films in other languages including Tamil and Telugu.
According to the Times of India, Neha Saxena, in a complaint lodged with the Bangalore police, claimed that she was subjected to the worst forms of violence, rape and death threats during the shooting of a Tamil language film.
According to the actress, she started shooting with a well-known filmmaker in August and a few days later she realized that the atmosphere of the shooting set was not right and the actors were being ridiculed.
Neha Saxena said that the director wanted to bring her son into acting through a Tamil film, so no big actress was willing to work with him, so the director begged him to do the job. Agreed.
The actress admitted that the cast and story of the film was nothing special when she found out during the shooting that her role in the entire film is 20%.
Neha Saxena said that during the shooting, she was asked to shoot some inappropriate scenes, which she refused, but the director threatened her and said that the producers of the film are criminals, they have a torture chamber. Where the actress can be imprisoned and subjected to the worst torture, she can be raped while she can be killed.
The actress claimed that she was forced to work by threatening her and during the shooting, she was also threatened at her hotel.
Neha Saxena also claimed that the owner of the hotel where the film crew had placed her had sent her a message that she would be paid well if she spent time with her and other colleagues.
The actress alleged that the film crew scared her by telling her the story of the abduction and gang-rape of a Tamil actress a few years back.
Neha Saxena lodged a complaint with the Bangalore police and provided them with some recordings of hidden cameras.
Although the actress lodged a complaint with the police alleging suicide and death threats, she did not formally file a case, nor did she provide information to the media about the director and film producers.
