Deeper clouds are coming to Karachi from the sea: Meteorological Department

 

Light to heavy rains are continuing in different parts of Karachi. In this regard, the Meteorological Department says that deeper clouds are moving towards the city of Quaid-e-Azam from the sea, causing more 1 or 2 hours of rain. It may rain.

According to the Meteorological Department, the city is surrounded by clouds on all sides, and cloud mass formed in the sea is also moving towards the city.

The meteorological department said the low sea pressure was in the southeast, which could cause another 1 to 2 hours of rain in the city.

The Meteorological Department also said that there are heavy clouds in the northeast of the city, adding that if heavy rains continue, there is a risk of urban flooding.

It should be noted that different areas of Karachi like Surjani Town, North Karachi, New Karachi, UP Society, Nagan Chowrangi, Muslim Town, Sakhi Hassan, North Nazimabad, Liaquatabad, Landhi, Korangi, Malir, Airport, Super Highway Link Road, New Malir, Saadi Town, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Pahlawan Goth, Shara Faisal, II Chandragar Road, Saddar, Defense, Clifton, Korangi Road, Akhtar Colony, Hijrat Colony, Delhi Colony. It is raining heavily somewhere.

Karachi had been enveloped in deep clouds since early morning while the Meteorological Department had also forecast thundershowers in Quaid-e-Azam city.

Due to the rain, water accumulated on various roads of the city, slipperiness was created, many motorcycles slipped on the roads.

As soon as it started raining, power supply was suspended in different parts of Karachi.

The Meteorological Department said that thundershowers are likely in Thar Parkar, Umerkot, Mirpur Khas, Thatta, Karachi and Jamshoro.

According to the Meteorological Department, partly cloudy weather and thundershowers are expected in Karachi tomorrow.

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in the city could be between 33 and 35 degrees during this period.
