China announces 1.5 million dollar aid to Taliban government


 
KABUL: Chinese Ambassador Wang Yu has called on Taliban Foreign Minister Maulvi Amir Khan Mottaki and announced financial assistance on humanitarian grounds.

Dr Muhammad Naeem, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, tweeted on the social networking site that Wang Yu, China's special envoy to Afghanistan, had an important meeting with Maulvi Amirullah Muttaqi, the foreign minister of the interim government.

The Taliban spokesman said that during the meeting, Chinese Ambassador to Afghanistan Wang Yu congratulated the new government on its formation and expressed his best wishes.

On the occasion, the Chinese envoy informed about the provision of 3 million doses of Corona vaccine and ڈی 15 million in humanitarian aid.

According to the Taliban spokesman, during the meeting, the Chinese special envoy also reiterated his commitment to maintaining humanitarian, economic, political cooperation and relations with Afghanistan.

The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Maulvi Amir Khan Mottaki, thanked China for its financial assistance and said that China and Afghanistan are neighboring countries and the development of bilateral relations is in the interest of both sides.

On September 8, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi offered ڈالر 31 million in financial assistance to Afghans suffering from malnutrition during a video conference with counterparts from Pakistan, Iran and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. And the Corona will be spent on the plague.
