The United States has expressed fears of an early attack on the United States by the terrorist organization Al Qaeda.
Addressing the security summit, Orwell Haynes, the US director of defense intelligence, said al-Qaeda would soon launch an attack on the United States, according to a foreign news agency.
Orwell Haynes said that after the Taliban took over Afghanistan, the threat of al-Qaeda increased, it would take one to two years for al-Qaeda to acquire the ability to attack the United States.
He said the US had lost its ability to monitor terrorists in Afghanistan and was looking for ways to re-enter.
On the other hand, CIA Deputy Director David Cohen also pointed out the growing threat of terrorism.
He said that in addition to Al Qaeda, ISIS could also attack Khurasan in the next few years.
