Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Afghanistan cannot be left to its own devices.
Addressing the SCO summit in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan said the international community must stand with Afghanistan, solve its problems together, not leave Afghanistan to its own devices. Maybe, if it is left alone, different crises will arise simultaneously.
Imran Khan said that Pakistan respects the sovereignty of Afghanistan and wants peace there, Pakistan believes that the Afghan people should make their own decisions, the Taliban's interim government has come to Afghanistan and the world must recognize the reality there, the Taliban Promises made in Afghanistan must be fulfilled.
The Prime Minister further said that we are facing global challenges in the region and we have to tackle these issues together. Climate change is a big challenge for the world. Global warming has had a negative impact on the region. We started planting trees in every part of the country where there was no greenery.
