The web version of Google Meet is now adding a low light detection system to an individual's webcam.
In case of dim light, Google Meet will increase the brightness of this person's call window so that it is easy for everyone to see and the feed is clear.
Low Light mode was introduced in Google Meet's mobile apps in 2020 and is now being added to the web version.
AI technology is used for low light mode which increases the brightness after inspecting the light.
The user can also switch off this feature if they wish.
According to Google, this feature will be available to workspace and G Suite Basic and business users.
According to the company, this feature will be available to users from mid-October and bad webcam feeds will now be a thing of the past.
