FLORIDA: A former US Navy sniper who fought in the Afghan-Iraqi war broke into two houses in his neighborhood and opened fire indiscriminately, killing four members of the same family.
According to the International News Agency, a gunman broke into his neighbour's house in Lakeland, Florida, USA and shot dead a 40-year-old man, his 33-year-old wife and 3-month-old son. I also stabbed and killed the child's 62-year-old grandmother.
An 11-year-old girl was also injured in the shooting, Pok County police told media. A gunman was arrested with weapons after the encounter. The accused also resisted the police at the hospital.
According to police, the arrested suspect has been identified as 33-year-old Brian Riley, a US Navy sharpshooter. The suspect has served in the Iraq and Afghan wars. The motive for the killings was not immediately clear, but Haryana Riley appears to be suffering from mental health problems.
On the other hand, a friend of Haryan Riley told the investigators that the accused was suffering from 'Post Traumatic Stress Disorder' and a week ago he had also told about starting talks with God.
The Associated Press reports that Justice Gleason, 40, was walking on his lawn at the time of the incident when the accused arrived and said, "God forbid you stop me." Said because your daughter is going to commit suicide.
