Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder and leader Altaf Hussain's elder sister Saira Khatun died of a heart attack in Karachi.
According to Sama News, she was 80 years old. Saira Khatun had undergone knee surgery a few days ago, after which she was shifted home. She was also suffering from heart ailment. Saira Khatun has been very active in the party since the MQM's exile, but she has been inactive since the separation of MQM Pakistan and London on August 22, 2016.
