An image attributed to Afghanistan is going viral on social media, showing a man in Afghanistan allegedly chaining three women and taking them away.
According to the Associated Press (AP), the photo shared on social media is fake. It was originally taken in 2003 in the Iraqi city of Erbil by photographer Murad Deziul.
The photo on social media adds chains to the photoshop, giving the impression that women in Afghanistan are being chained.
