In Japan, the Paralympics were restricted due to corona virus threats, without spectators holding a flashlight ceremony.

After the Tokyo Olympics, the corona virus attacks paralyzed the Special Athletes Festival, the Paralympics, a short torch-lighting ceremony, and SOPs prevented spectators from entering the stadium.

Athletes with disabilities from around the world will be in action at the Tokyo Paralympics from August 24 to September 5.
