Israel has threatened to attack Iran after it attacked an oil tanker off the coast of Oman.
According to foreign media, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz warned Iran that Israel is ready to attack Iran.
The statement from Israel's defense minister came after a drone strike on an Israeli oil tanker off the coast of Oman killed a British man and a Romanian national.
The United States and Britain have already blamed Iran for the attack, but Iran has vehemently denied it.
According to media reports, in an interview, the Israeli Defense Minister was asked whether Israel was ready to attack Iran after the attack on the oil tanker. The Israeli Defense Minister replied in the affirmative.
Iran's reaction
On the other hand, the spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry called the threat of the Israeli Defense Minister a clear violation of international law.
In a statement released on Twitter, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzada said that the Israeli threat was a "very bad thing" and had the blind support of the West.
The spokesman also warned Israel that "we are clearly saying that any foolish action against Iran will be met with a full response."
"Don't try us," the spokesman said.
