Noor Muqaddam murder case: Extension of judicial remand of main accused Zahir Jaffer

 

The judicial remand of Zahir Jaffer, the main accused in the Noor Muqadam murder case in Islamabad, has been extended till September 6. The accused has not been produced before the court.

Zahir Jaffer was brought to the District and Sessions Court on completion of his 14-day judicial remand but the accused was not produced in the court. Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Imran N. The accused was taken back to Adiala Jail from Bakhshi Khana.

 Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Imran summoned the accused. After receiving the judicial remand of the accused from the District and Sessions Court, the police took the accused back from Bakhshi Khana to Adiala Jail.

Meanwhile, the police completed the challan of the case in which the accused Zahir Jaffer was found guilty. The parents of the accused and the owners and employees of the therapy works have also been found guilty.

Earlier, Shaukat Muqaddam, father of Noor Muqaddam, had filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court seeking cancellation of bail of employees and owners of therapy works.

It may be recalled that six persons, including the owner of the therapy center, were arrested on August 16 following the revelations in the forensic report of the Noor Muqadam case, while the bail of the accused was granted by the Additional Sessions Judge on August 23.

Noor Muqaddam, daughter of former Pakistani ambassador Shaukat Muqaddam, was brutally murdered a day before Eid-ul-Adha in the F-Seven Four area of ​​Islamabad.
