Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi arrived in Tajikistan on a mission for Afghan peace. The Foreign Minister will meet with his Tajik counterpart Sirajuddin Mehruddin.
According to private TV, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will travel to the presidential palace to meet with Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon, while in Tashkent he will also meet with Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirzayev.
It should be noted that this visit of the Foreign Minister is part of the practical efforts to adopt a coherent and integrated strategy with the countries of the region in view of the changing situation in Afghanistan.
