How many lives were lost in Sindh in 24 hours?

 

The spread of Corona virus is on the rise in Sindh. The increase in the number of patients suffering from global parasitic disease has also alarmed the Sindh government. In the last 24 hours, 32 more patients have died across the province while 1,380 have died. New cases have been reported while the number of patients recovering is 623.

According to details, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah while describing the situation of Corona virus said that 16 thousand 611 samples were tested in the last 24 hours as a result of which 1380 new cases were reported which is 8.3% of the diagnosis rate. He said that 32 more patients died today bringing the total number of deaths to 6529 which is 1.6 percent of the death rate.

Elaborating on the vaccination data, the Sindh Chief Minister said that during the last 24 hours, 158,306 people have been vaccinated while a total of 96,91,609 vaccines have been vaccinated which is 28.47 per cent of the population. So far, a total of 53 lakh 32 thousand 917 samples have been tested and one lakh 41 thousand 833 cases have been reported. Today, in 24 hours, 623 more patients have been cured, bringing the total number of recovered persons to 361 thousand 888 Which is 86.9% of the recovery rate.

He said that at present 47,796 patients are undergoing treatment out of which 45,448 are quarantined inside their homes, 1310 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals while 38 patients are undergoing treatment in isolation centers. The condition of 1159 patients is said to be critical. The Chief Minister Sindh said that out of 1380 new cases of corona virus across the province, 741 cases have been reported from Karachi, 294 in East Karachi, 190 in Hyderabad, 171 in Central Karachi and South Karachi. 86, Korangi 82, Malir 63, Badin 78, Jamshoro 53, Karachi West 45, Matiari 35, Nawabshah 33, Tando Muhammad Khan 31, Tharparkar 30, Khairpur 25, Sanghar 24, Nowshero Feroze 21 16 new cases have been reported in Umerkot, 10 in Tando Allahyar, 9 in Sukkur, 9 in Mirpur Khas, 6 in Larkana, 5 in Ghotki, 2 in Thatta, 2 in Shikarpur, 2 in Kashmore, one each in Jacobabad and Sujawal.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has appealed to the people of Sindh to implement SOPs to save their lives and the lives of their loved ones.
