A fire broke out in a chemical factory in Mehran Town area of Korangi in Karachi. According to rescue officials, the bodies of 10 workers have been recovered so far.
A fire broke out in a chemical factory in Mehran Town area of Korangi and engulfed the entire factory. The fire was declared as third degree by the fire brigade officials. The fire was brought under control after the struggle while the cooling process is still going on. During the rescue operation, three rescue workers fell from the building and were injured.
According to fire brigade officials, there are reports of 15 to 20 workers in the factory, more workers are trapped and rescue operations are underway to evacuate them.
On the other hand, the families of the workers have also gathered around the factory.
