CPEC Authority Chairman Asim Saleem Bajwa resigns

 

Lieutenant General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa, Chairman, Pakistan-China Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority, has resigned from his post. Asim Saleem Bajwa tweeted that he was thankful to Allah for giving him the opportunity to run an important institution like CPEC, which would not have been possible without the trust and cooperation of the Prime Minister. But the path of progress is paved for the future and CPEC will make us a fully progressive and developed country while C-Pac is the lifeline of Pakistan. Asim Saleem Bajwa expressed best wishes for Special Assistant for C-Pac Khalid Mansoor and said On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed Khalid Mansoor as Special Assistant for CPEC Affairs, for which a notification has also been issued.
