Court angry over Honey Singh's absence in wife violence case

In the case of violence against his wife, the court has expressed anger over the absence of famous music rapper Yuvraj Singh and ordered him to appear at the next hearing.

According to Indian media, a case of violence against his wife was heard in a local court in Delhi today, but the singer could not appear before the court. His lawyer told the court that the singer could not appear today due to ill health, so his request for exemption from attendance should be granted.

Expressing anger over this, the court said that no one is above the law, all are equal in the eyes of the law, if Yu Honey Singh does not appear at the next hearing, notice will be issued. The court has ordered to submit the singer's medical report and income tax details at the next hearing.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case and directed Yuvraj Singh to appear in person on September 3.

It may be recalled that on August 3 this year, Shelley Talwar, the wife of Yu Yu Honey Singh, had knocked on the door of the court against her husband for torturing her. Shelney Talwar had filed a petition in a local Delhi court alleging that she was physically, verbally and psychologically abused by her husband.

The wife had also stated in the petition that the husband's income is Rs 4 crore per month and he spends the money on alcohol, drugs and luxury. The husband has had sex with several girls.

Singer Yu Yu Honey Singh and Shelney Talwar were married in 2011 but the two continued dating for many years before their marriage.
