America's tallest man dies

Igor, 38, 7 feet 8 inches tall, posted a video message on YouTube about his health two years ago, when he was being treated at the local hospital's cardiology department.

"I don't know how many days I will be able to stay in the hospital and what about the rest of my life after that," Igor said. "I found out a few days ago that I needed surgery."

Igor, a tall American citizen, was born in Ukraine and was brought to the United States for treatment at the age of 7. He was about 6 feet tall at the time and was suffering from a mental illness. Later, he also suffered from a heart condition that led to his death.

At 7 years old, Igor, 7 feet 8 inches tall, was named the tallest man in the United States by the Guinness Book of World Records.
