Pakistani actress Hamima Malik revealed in a heartbreaking message on the death of Noor Muqaddam, daughter of the slain former Pakistani ambassador to Islamabad, that she too had gone through the trauma of abuse.
He shared a detailed post on the social media site Instagram about the Noor murder case in which he talked about enduring the trauma of self-abuse.
Regarding the murder of Noor Muqaddam, he wrote: "Today, eight days have passed since this incident and I have not been able to say anything, because my heart and mind did not allow it and I did not have the courage to do so. I was able to put my feelings into words.
"As a woman, I have been the victim of this abuse and I can understand this trauma. This trauma takes you away from within, but you still try to survive," Hamima.
The actress wrote that this abuse changes you so much that you do not even recognize your shadow.
"Now is not the time to be silent because silence has become a crime," he said.
In her post, Hamima also called the judicial system a failure and wrote that I am surprised that the machinery of the judicial system has failed, we have all failed.
It may be recalled that on the night of July 20, Islamabad police arrested Zahir, the accused in the Noor murder case, from his house where, according to Noor's parents, the accused killed him with a sharp instrument and severed his head.
