The death toll from the corona virus has risen, with 74 more people killed in the past 24 hours across the country and 4,497 new cases reported.
According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), the total number of deaths from corona in Pakistan has risen to 23,209 since the recent deaths, while the number of corona victims has risen to 1,020,000. 324 Nationwide, 59,761 people are still receiving treatment. Nine lakh 37 thousand 354 Pakistanis defeated the deadly virus.
Sindh is the largest province affected by Corona where 374,434 Corona cases were reported, 5,903 people died while 330,796 people recovered. In Sindh, 37,695 Corona patients are undergoing treatment. ۔
Punjab is the second largest province affected by Corona where 354,904 people were diagnosed with the deadly virus. 10,995 people fell victim to the deadly virus while 12,205 people are still undergoing treatment in the province while 330,836 people returned to life after defeating the virus.
In the federal capital Islamabad, 86,602 people were infected with corona, 797 died and 82,992 people succumbed to the deadly virus. There are 2,813 active cases in the federal capital.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, corona was diagnosed in 142,799 people, 4,435 people lost their lives while 135,687 people recovered. The number of active cases of corona in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is 2,677.
In Balochistan, corona virus was confirmed in 30,019 people, 326 people died, 28,463 people recovered, 1,230 active cases.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, corona virus was confirmed in 7,935 people out of which 113 people lost their lives, 7,016 people recovered and 7,935 corona cases are under treatment in Gilgit.
In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 23,631 people were infected with corona, 620 died while 20,656 people are living healthy lives after treatment. There are 2,355 active cases in the state.
