In Pakistan, 40 more people have died due to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours, while 1,037 new cases have been reported.
According to the data released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), a total of 22,321 deaths have been reported from the corona virus since the recent deaths, while the total number of people infected with corona across the country is 958,408. 31,767 people are still undergoing treatment while 94,320 people have succumbed to the deadly virus. Punjab is the largest province affected by Corona where 346,301 people have been infected with Corona, 10,755 people have died while 8,378 patients are still in Punjab. He is undergoing treatment in different hospitals. The second largest province affected by Corona is Sindh province where 3,37,674 people were diagnosed with the deadly virus, 5,464 people were infected with the deadly virus and 19,474 patients are undergoing treatment in Sindh.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a total of 138,068 people were infected with corona, 4,320 died and 1,499 patients were being treated in various hospitals. In the federal capital Islamabad, 82,706 cases of corona were confirmed, 1,499 people are still undergoing treatment, while 779 people lost their lives due to corona in Islamabad.
In Balochistan, 27,178 corona cases were reported, 309 people succumbed to the deadly virus and 699 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 20,343 corona cases were found out of which 583 people could not survive while 19,307 people succumbed to corona virus. There are 453 active cases in the state.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, 6,138 confirmed cases of corona have been reported. Corona virus has claimed 111 lives while 292 people are undergoing treatment.
