In Islamabad, a low-lying area was inundated due to continuous light and heavy rains along with cloudburst. A child and a mother were killed when water entered their houses in Sector E-11/2.
According to the family, four children and a mother drowned when water entered the house, but the administration rescued three children, but one child and mother drowned. The water entered the house around 6 am, after which the back wall of the house collapsed about 15 minutes later, filling the basement with water and drowning the mother and child.
