A magnitude 8.2 earthquake has shaken the US state of Alaska, prompting a tsunami warning.
The epicenter was reported 91 kilometers southeast of Perryville, Alaska, at a depth of 46.7 kilometers, according to the US Geological Survey. Two severe aftershocks of magnitude 6.2 and 5.6 were recorded. Tsunami warnings have been issued in several parts of the state. US agencies have also issued tsunami monitoring instructions in Hawaii.
